Using Enstilar® in patients with plaque psoriasis before initiation of phototherapy or systemic therapy

01 Jul 2021
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease and can be classified as ‘mild’, ‘moderate’, or ‘severe’. The management of psoriasis should always be based on its severity and individual patient preferences – it should not be more unpleasant than the disease itself. The two most commonly prescribed classes of topical treatment for psoriasis are vitamin D analogues and topical corticosteroids. In this case study, Dr Tan Wooi Chiang shares hisclinical experience treating plaque psoriasis with a combined formulation of betamethasone dipropionate and calcipotriol monohydrate in a single spray foam (Enstilar® Foam, LEO Pharma).
