The webinar discussed the issues of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients being prone to severe COVID-19 infection and their difficulties in coping with nutrition aspects during the pandemic as well as the role of diabetes-specific nutrition in ensuring T2DM patients thrive during this challenging period.
