Prucalopride elicits colonic motility in patients with chronic constipation
07 Jun 2016
Prucalopride elicits more high amplitude propagating contractions compared with PEG3350 in the 12-hour period following treatment among patients with chronic constipation, a randomised, cross-over, reader-blinded study has shown.
Treatment also substantially increased secondary endpoints including mean propagation distance and velocity (HAPC2) and mean area under the curve, force, and amplitude (HAPC3).
