Wounds maybe caused by acute traumatic injury to the skin, or other aetiologies that cause initially intact skin to break down. Recently, Dato’ Dr Ho Teik Kok shared his insights into the importance of micronutrients for wound recovery, stressing on the importance of treating the underlying diseases that may impede wound healing.
