At the 8th Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society (MEMS) Annual Congress 2017 recently held in Kuala Lumpur, consultant endocrinologist Professor Siew-Pheng Chan spoke on the importance of lipid control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with atherogenic dyslipidaemia (AD), highlighting the role of fenofibrate in the management of diabetic retinopathy.
